“Grand return!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

Said last October I would return for the champagne afternoon tea and I did today and was not disappointed! Had a great time with friends, lovely sandwiches and amazing cakes and of course the bubbly! Such an amazing setting and the harpist was the icing on the cake! Felt quite posh sitting there! Great service also made our visit a real treat!

“Afternoon Tea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

On Saturday we visited The Caledonian for Afternoon Tea with friends, beautiful setting, lovely staff and great food. The only thing letting the experience down was that we were always trying to grab someone's attention for drinks, sugar.....etc!

“Excellent place to visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

My husband and I booked a table for afternoon tea last week ago. The service was brilliant during the whole time we spent there. The cakes and sandwiches were delicious. The atmosphere was so relaxing and comfortable that we stayed there three hours instead of one hour like we thought we would. A waitress Rita, who was looking after us, showed an exellent knowledge about afternoon tea service. Our expectations about selection of teas were met by Rita's recommendation. Her attention to detail made that day for us a very special and unforgettable. We had a great time.

“Afternoon tea delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013

My friend treated me to a Travel Zoo deal of afternoon tea here this week (£19 instead of £38 each). The staff were lovely, the setting was elegant and the choices of tea was extensive. The deal also included a couple of glasses of champagne! They bring a 3 tier stand with sandwiches, scones, cream, jam and a vast selection of cakes and we could not eat it all - so they put the cakes left in a takeaway box!! It was a lovely experience. I think the £19 each was excellent value but don't know if I would pay £38 for it. The only thing I would maybe change would be less cakes and more savoury items on the stand - maybe a couple of mini quiche or blini?
