Love, love, loved it. Five ladies of a certain vintage arrived to celebrate another birthday.
The climb up several flights of stairs was a bit daunting but once inside we were transported to a world of luxury and the adventure began. The generous hamper Ian had provided got us off to a good start!
Two days of bliss followed venturing out to the shops occasionally with King Street being directly to the right and Queen Street to the left.
Departing the quality accommodation proved very difficult! Perfect city break - top marks!!
Lovely clean apartment in an excellent central location.
Ian was very helpful and the welcome hamper was a nice touch - the eggs were delicious.
Location is perfect, just a short walk away from Princes Street and the castle. Plenty of toys and books for children and adults. The hamper was a lovely treat. Ian the owner talked us through everything we would need to know. A home from home.
We will return .
This three bedroom apartment was perfect for my family of four adults and two children. Each bedroom had plenty of room and the two bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get ready for our daily excursions around the city. The location was blocks from the castle and the Royal Mile.
Our host was quite gracious, meeting us when we arrived. He toured us around the apartment and showed us the many amenities of the place.
I don't think we could have chosen a better place.
We had a great stay, the views were fantastic. A great central location, but in a nice quiet area. Very nice stylish apartment, hamper and toiletries an added bonus. Plenty of steps up to the apartment but got a lot easier as the week went on. An enjoyable stay for all our party of varying ages.
Well, to be honest, I was a bit unsure about what to expect, being my first trip to Edinburgh....And then i got this mail from Ian which was almost like a mini guide to Edinburgh. The stay...well I was blown away by the beautifully maintained apartment as well as the fantastic welcome given. I can say with utmost sincerity that the stay was better than any hotel. My kids grew so fond of the kid room full of toys, they wanted us to stay longer. I would strongly recommend it to any family and for sure I will be going back for a longer duration. An absolute 5 star rating
Six of us stayed for the Edinburgh Marathon weekend. From the generous welcome basket, to the extensive library, local guides, lovely furnishing, large space and so on - it was a great place to stay. It even has parking in the centre of the New Town!
Could not fault it at all, it really was a super experience to say here.
