Enjoyed a fabulous facial today with the wonderful Taylor who I would highly recommend. She has healing hands and I really enjoyed my birthday treat. The head massage was equally good and I felt totally relaxed and chilled after leaving. Steam Room, Sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi were quiet when we arrived at 10.45 so it was fab to use the facilities

Had the nutmeg back massage with my boyfriend, therapists were late by 5 mins and never apologised then they cut our treatment short by 10 minutes.. then we went to the so called spa and the steam room wasn’t even working so never got to use the full facilities. I have raised this issue over email a month ago and was told that I could use the Carlisle spa and have a complimentary back massage, then when asking for details was ignored and told they’d be in touch. A couple of weeks later still no reply!! What a joke I’m so annoyed I have used bannatyne in the past and never had a problem like this. How unprofessional not responding to my emails. Don’t offer a back massage and complimentary use of facilities if you can’t even be bothered to respond! Are you gonna bother getting in touch?????

made to feel very uncomfortable by rude receptionist, who rather than asking if I had enjoyed my experience, was more instrested in looking me up and down and abruptly asked where I had been while getting changed after using the spa facilities?? Very nosey and uncalled for, maybe an off day for her?? Don't think she's all that interested in gaining new customers.. shame, The massage was top class

I booked a cheap spa day through wowcher for myself and a friend. For the price we paid we were satisfied, but if we'd paid the actual price we definitely would not have been! The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The treatments themselves were very good, the masseuse I had was excellent. The huge downside however was the facilities themselves. The building was noticeably run down, with cracks and dirt in the ceiling. It had a generally grubby air, not because of a low standard of cleanliness, but because it needs a refurb really. Dirty tile grout, cracked tiles, leak stains etc. The treatment rooms were tiny, and the furniture very late 90's / early 00's. The pool area was just generally shabby. It didn't feel very spa-like. If they refurbed the building it could be a really lovely place as the staff and location are definitely an asset to the company.

I was gifted a spa break at any Bannatyne spa. I chose Edinburgh Queen Street. Thought it was going to be more of a gym than spa. Didnt like the on line booking system because it restricted options.

In fact, it was very zen. Comfortable, pamper. Waiting area with heated beds, flexible spa option on consultation with therapist. Got just what I wanted and loved it.

Will come back and recommend it.
