I stayed in this hotel for my friend's hen night and we had a lovely stay. It was a great location, everything was in walking distance and the views of the castle from the bar area were beautiful. The room we stayed in was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet and the room itself was nice and spacious. The hotel also held on to our cases for us on the Sunday so we could do a bit more sightseeing before going home. I wouldn't hestitate to stay here again.
The only tiny down side which I believe someone else mentioned was that the bar wasn't always open (i.e. Sunday afternoon) so if you wanted a drink you have to use the vending machines (no wine in there though!).
