“Very friendly hotel”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

The girls at the check in were very friendly, explaining everything about the hotel to you.

The Edinburgh Park Railway station is a few feet away, giving regular trains to Waverly and Haymarket for £3 off peak return.

Car park seemed to be empty most of the time.

Breakfast was normal Premier Inn standard, so very good. Freshly cooked.

Would stay here again for sure, when visiting Edinburgh in the future.

Stayed here overnight as we were catching an early morning flight, the room was spacious and clean. The room was very warm though, even with the air con on. There is a train station across from the hotel with a direct train into the city. We never ate at the hotel, but the menu looked good and reasonably priced. Good all round accommodation for £40.00. Would I stay again? Yes.

Stayed over night to catch a flight in the morning. Good location just next to Edinburgh Park Train station. So was able to take the train in the morning into the city and took the airlink to the Airport. I also could have taken the taxi, thats what the receptionsit suggested for just 10,00.

The room was lovely and clean. The bed was amazing, so comfortable didn`t want to get up. The only down was the restaurant. Went down for the restaurant and waited for 10 minutes till someone greated me. One waitress passed at least 5 times but never knowledeged me. That was the only down.

Up for the 6 Nations Rugby Scotland v Ireland with wife and two teenage girls. Stayed at Travel Lodge 2 years ago in Haymarket, for the same fixture, not nice. decided to try this out of town hotel mainlty because parking in Edinburgh could easily be classed as a legalised blood sport. Free secure parking here..bliss. The hotel was very clean, attentive and knowledgable staff. We paid for 2 adult breakfasts and kids ate free. Room as you would expect from Premier Inn, basic, clean, not too roomy with 2 single beds but for a price of £100.80 for 4 with breakfast, who am I to complain. Train station is a spit away. Ask for a room on the opposite side to the station so you don't get disturbed by the train noise. This we did but were near the A/C unit. It sounded like we were on board an all night Ryanair flight. Th higher you go the quieter it gets I will save my biggest gripe to the end though. HOW THE HELL DID WE LOSE THAT MATCH? Lets be honest, first half we.........................

I am always hesitant about staying in premier inn's but not this one. The hotel was spotless, staff were all helpful & friendly. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant but it was very busy so I would recommend you book a table. Didn't have breakfast in the restaurant instead we went to costa. And wish more hotels would have vending machines like this one great if your after a snack.

Went to have lunch, restaurant closed, asked about a bar meal, but was put off by a very rude waiter due to a crowd. Had a panini in the costa part, when we came out 30 mins later no one in the bar. Won't be going there again.

Great location. Easy access from the main roads to the city and by train. Good parking. Easy access by train to the city, every 15 mins and the journey time takes about 10 mins.
Restaurant and Costa coffee on site.
Bicycle and running routes in the area.
For light sleepers I would suggest asking for a room away from the train station.
Consider booking a table for an evening meal or you can eat in the bar area.

Room Tip: Any side apart from the one facing the train station. Buses also drop and pick up from there, can be...
