Could not fault this in any way. Check in staff were welcoming, room was spotless and really appreciated separate beds for the kids. Breakfast was great value and super selection. Would recommend. Deserves its Tripadvisor ratings.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and can't fault it. The hotel was clean and comfortable for all my family, with proper beds for our 2 kids rather than the usual sofa bed. The staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and great value as the kids ate free. Location is great because the hotel is on the outskirts of Edinburgh and right next to Edinburgh park railway station, with fast (10-15mins) and frequent (every 15 mins) trains into the heart of Edinburgh; not having to drive into Edinburgh and find parking is a serious advantage of this hotel. We would happily stay here again. Well done Premier Inn!

The hotel is between the airport and the city and is literally across the road from the train station. I stayed here because of the price - there is some inconvenience of the half-hour train trip into the city, however being so close to Edinburgh the trains are quite regular. There is also the option of taking the train to Stirling to visit the castle - fortunately a friend had figured which train to catch for that.
The hotel looks new and is situated in a business park, so it's a fairly quiet area, and didn't hear the trains from my room.
The staff were good - some of them very helpful.

I've stayed in this hotel several times since it opened earlier this year. Each time I've paid the outdated fee they continue to charge and got a "hit and miss" signal which fluctuates between a weak signal or none at all.
This time, I paid again and was told that they were having problems with the wi-fi. They didn't tell me that it had completely packed in, and as I depend on the internet to keep up with my business, I wasn't too impressed. Needless to say I got a refund after complaining but it doesn't help much.

Apart from that, the location is at the far end of an estate of office blocks, and if you want to eat out you'll need transport.

I ate in and the food is very mediocre. My dessert of lemon meringue and ice cream was somehow completely deficient of meringue, and my colleague was served frozen bread - obviously the microwave had come out in sympathy with the wi-fi.

Rooms are standard Premier Inn - liquid soap dispenser, two coffee sachets and two catering teabags.

Staff are very good, especially the young blonde lady on reception.

Newly opened this Premier Inn has the Brand Standards you expect from Premier Inn, with a computerised check inn which is easy to use. Edinburgh is notoriously had to find parking but if you stay at this hotel the railway station is right on the doorstep and every 15 mins you can catch the train to the city centre for £2.90 return. There is also a Costa Coffee shop in the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Also our room was right opposite the hotel and there was no noise issues at all.

Good location for the airport or city. Just a short train ride to center of town but very quiet at the weekend due to being on an industrial estate.

Great, modern hotel. 'Proper' beds for both children and next to train station and shops.
