decided to try cameo bar for a change, usually eat in teuchters landing.was reasonably busy but got seated by waitress and ordered food.pub grub can get a raw deal sometimes but steak was perfect and my partners burrito was excellent.the bar itself was clean and tidy and cant fault the service.sometimes people expect too much from bar food if that is the case there are plenty expensive restaurants that will cater to the food snobs palate, another bonus was no kids running about and playing up,so all in all a pleasant experience and a decent value for money bar lunch will certainly be in for another visit...

The Cameo was always a good non pretentious pub with reasonable pub grub but has recently undergone a refurbishment to bring the appearance up to scratch with other places in the area. The food is great, portions more than sufficient and my only complaint is the menu. Too much choice, all lookong great, this place is going to bankrupt me before I try everything I like the sound of!

I visited with a friend on Friday night, we ordered a Burrito and Fajitas for sharing. Fajitas had 8 slivers over chicken, tons of veg 3 tiny wraps and mini pots of cheese, salsa and soured cream. So very poor quantities. The Burrito was on the small side, but was tasty. This came to just under £20! Which you can get better value else where!

went here before the proclaimers concert, our usual place was not open until 8pm this evening so we plumped for here. We have had drinks in here before but never earn, the menu was typical pub fare and i went for the gammon steak and my wife she went for the scampi, we only waited for around 15mins, my gammon was huge and had 2 lovely fried eggs on top and was very good, my wife enjoyed her scampi as well so 4/5 for the food.
The minus point is the same as our previous visits, lack of staff, it has two bars and only 1 bar tender and this has happened on numerous visits so not a one off, it can take some time to get served, but all in all, its ok
