One of the best places in the city, simple yet stunning food, lovely staff and very helpful, would definitely recommend and will certainly be going back!

Unlike one of the previous reviewers Scotland had won the rugby so there was a happy feel to the place. It's a busy, bustling noisy restaurant but not overwhelmingly so. My starter of crab salad was delicious and my husband enjoyed his red mullet. He then had an enormous bowl of mussels, while I chose a whole lemon sole, grilled and topped with gremolata and panko crumbs. It was lovely. The wine list is good value. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The staff are good too, and the maitre d is not half on the ball.

This used to be a great restaurant but standards have slipped. We went as a group of 6 and were all disappointed with our experience. The fish was overcooked and the steaks thin and fatty. The Scallop and pork starter was particularly disappointing as it is a dish I have really enjoyed in other restaurant, however the pork was too fatty and the 2 scallops were tiny. Main dishes cost between £20 and £30 so I would expect a lot more from this restaurant.

A great plaice (sorry) to head if you are in town. Scallops were hand dived (must make them taste better for sure) and the halibut was the whitest fish ever. Oh and that was fab too. Was a little noisy as it was rugby night (yes, Scotland lost again) so a little boisterous but nothing that would put me off my food. Recommended and never had a bad meal here

A good lunch, with a lovely menu to choose from. The bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar went down a treat while we waited for the food. The fish soup is lovely, although I found that nearly all of the food was under seasoned.
A good atmosphere, and friendly staff.
