Went to this restuarant after the rugby last weekend and was very impressed. There were 16 of us and the staff were terriffic.
The food was much better than other Indian restuarants we have used before in Edinburgh and is good value for money. I had the lamb shank which was delicious and one that I would recommend. Everyone else in our large group all said they were delighted with both the food and the prices.
Will certainly return on our next vist.
Highly recommended

All fine, not outstanding, but good. The fish lahori was actually great. Nice and clean restaurant. I would go back. The big disappointment was that they offer pre-theatre only till 6pm, while most restaurant go till 6.30-7pm. But they were nice enough to let us choose from the pre-theatre menu after 6pm when we asked.

Great food, atmosphere and value for money. Service was spot on (if a little over exuberant). Can't remember the name of the dish I had, but was a bone-in lamb curry. Fabulous! Will definitely try to return on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Hi we had a meal there before heading to the theatre and the food and service where excellent. The spicy prawns were the star of the show but overall the food was definitely that of a high quality Indian restaurant. Give it a try, don't as we did, try to squeeze it into a short period of time as the atmosphere and service are superb.

Great experience, excelling in everything you want in a great restaurant food, service and atmosphere. THANK YOU

We got our hotel to book a table on arrival we were greated by what looked to be the manager very welcoming new straight away we were from the hotel , gave us a lovely window table but from then on the service was not good ! I asked one waitress wat would she recommend i got an answer along the lines i havnt worked here long so notting yet not quite the ans i was looking for then i asked for glass of water not one but twice n still notting we were waiting ages for our starter to arrive and you could see the waiter kept looking at the table wondering why but still no apology or reasurance that it wouldnt be long finally when it arrived again i asked for glass of water and finally got it , we were then left looking at our dirty plates for ages until finally they cleared them away we then had to wait for ages for our mains but the same thing happened again we were left looking at our dirty plates for age there was a waitress recleaning the empty tables around us but didnt even look at us i noticed the manager kept coming over to see if our table was cleaned but still it took him til the third time looking at us for him to tell her to clean off our table but finally wen we asked for bill we got a change of attitude from the waiter as i saw him clearing the table beside us he was disgusted with the small tip he was left as i asked for bill he was rude but by time he brought bill back to us his attitude had change and he was all nice and wanted to talk defo wanting a goid tip ! Although service was bad food was lovely so fair play to the chefs we got the mixed started which was nice to try a bit of everything then i got the fish curry was lovely but dont think i wud get it again my partner got the lamb shank which i must say i was jealous of ! I would go back for the food just hope the service improves !
