We stayed here for three nights on a short break.
First of all, the building itself is lovely. The interior is decorated modern and neat. The staff always very helpful and friendly.
Our room was on the top floor, which is a bit of a mission as there is no lift due to it being a listed building. But the staff kindly offered to help with our bags (we declined, but it was a nice offer.) I would recommend requesting a lower room if you dont get on with stairs, I think I counted 73 to our room.
Room was spacious with opening windows and a fan. A nice view up york place, with sunrise views in the morning. Shower room was good, well stocked tea and coffee. Fast reliable WiFi.
Excellent location, a very short walk to the nearest tram stop and the bus station. About 10 mins walk to the train station and the sightseeing bus stop. 15mins to the old town.More
