The property is in an excellent location, particularly as I was there to visit the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, as well as see the city centre. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and although I didn't have time to make use of it, there's a beautiful reading room/library available to use.

This hotel was a lot better than I initially expected. Extremely friendly staff, but don’t expect them to remember your previous interactions. Elevator is always a plus and the view from the room was exquisite. The room for two people was actually quite small, it was very difficult to fit our suitcases. Shower also was quite small, also the bathroom couldn’t be locked. The given shampoo and conditioner were good. The breakfast was good and traditional, but took a long time to come. The hotel has great placement and is easy to find with taxi, and easy to walk everywhere. Overall very pleasant and I’d visit again.

Nice and helpful staff, close to inner city and restaurants. Could have been a little cleaner. Our bathroom was very small and the towel rack therefore very close to the toilet which I didn't like. The lift/elevator was definitely a plus.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Lovely room, fabulous breakfast in a beautifully decorated room, great added extras coffee, tea and water available as well as facilities in the bedroom to make drinks.
Best of all truly helpful and friendly staff at reception and at breakfast. Thank you all for a lovely trip- three ladies in room 11 from 24/11 to 28/11.

Room Tip: Room 11 slept 3 adults very well, lots of room with views of the castle.

Lovely hotel, great location, good breakfast, good room with very comfortable bed!! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel feels like it is family run, I would definitely stay here again.
