Perfect hotel with good service, nice big rooms, all designed for comfort. Last but not least; location is perfect as it is in the center close to all mayor sites but still very quite. I can strongly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for one night only. An absolutely fantastic place to stay. Hotel was very clean, well located, excellent service, good food, helpful & knowledgable staff, easy walking distance to all visitor attractions. Would recommend and will definitely use again. We stayed in a room on the first floor in apartment style room. A perfect place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for room 103.

I stayed in this hotel several times in 2012, when I was in Edinburgh on business trip. Overall it is a great hotel, considering the its' cost, location and facilities. Apartment style rooms a very convenient in case you are staying there for longer than 1 night, working station is good and well equipped, breakfast is excellent, location too - it's on;y 15 minutes walk to Princess street and at the same time it is situated in a quite corner, next door to a park. If you are lucky enough to get a top-floor apartment with a castle view (at no extra cost) you can enjoy terrific views at the sunset and sunrise.

Room Tip: Top floor with castle view

Stayed here in January for Hogmany and ended up liking the hotel. It was certainly very different from any other hotel experience I had to date. The hotel room was small and the bathroom only had a shower with a sliding door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. The beds were the modern low profile beds, that are not very comfortable and the floors tile and hardwood. The breakfast is basic but the Starbucks is right next door. Also very easy 10 minute walk to the old city center so good location. Another draw back is not having a warm and inviting bar area to relax after dining out. The bar is right up front and feels to be part of the check in counter. Also, one morning no hot water at all.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
The location was great. Edinburgh is such a walkable and pedestrian friendly city, that I was able to walk from the hotel to essentially all the things I did in Edinburgh. There were a couple restaurants right near the hotel, although I didn't get a chance to try them.
The room was clean, modern, and spacious, as were the common areas of the hotel.
The staff was welcoming and friendly.
The breakfast was also nice.
Everything was great...no complaints!
