Group of 12 visiting for a stag do. We were there for 2-3 hours which was the perfect amount of time for a stag party.
The instructors were great and set up a great suicide run for the stag.
The course is straight forward and ideal for some fast paced action!
Would recommend 100% for a stag party like ours.

This was a fantastic couple of hours, perfect for a Stag Do (as we were on) or just a group of friends. There were loads of different team games played over shorter periods which kept things interesting, and was probably necessary to ward-off death by exhaustion (it does get seriously hot in those boiler suits...). Also worth noting that the paint does get onto your clothes; it washes out but you'll be able to relax and enjoy it more if you just wear your scruffs (preferably light scruffs, again - it's hot).
Safety-wise the staff are on the ball, and they're really good for tailoring the day to what you enjoy as a group (eg. giving me a long-awaited opportunity to legitimately assault my brother on his 'Stag Run').
The only downside was the Call-of-Duty Extremists who seem to spend most of their life paintballing, and most of their money buying ridiculous equipment. The facility isn't exclusively booked so these armed-to-the-teeth paintball ninjas can just rock up and cure their loneliness by gaining a sense of self-importance from peppering first-timers with paintballs. Or I could just be bitter that they were really good...

We had a fantastic time up at Urban Paintball this weekend as part of a Stag Do in Edinburgh.

The staff do a great job of keeping things fresh with a range of different games in 7-10min bursts and our two hours flew by.

Some advice - wear old clothes under your boiler suit and old shoes as the paint can leak through (although it does wash out) and don't wear anything too heavy as it gets very hot in there!

The paintballs do sting a little at first but any discomfort lasts no more than a few seconds and its always fun comparing medals (bruises) afterwards!

Having got an early train to Edinburgh, we arrived at Urban Paintball for a 10:30am start. With it being a stag do, some people didn't know each other so this activity was an excellent way to make sure the day started with a bang.

We paid £37.50pp for the stag do experience, which involved joining in various games with other groups, then being let loose for the 'stag run', in which my brother had to get from one end of the arena to the other whilst we all shot him with paintballs. Needless to say, he is very sore today!

The staff were fun and relaxed, but ensured health and safety was at the forefront of people's minds during the games. They were knowledgeable of the area, with suggestions of what to do with the time we were in Edinburgh.

The only slight negative was that the overalls we had were quite torn and tattered, and some of the equipment had seen better days. Having done paintball before in other locations, I'm pretty sure this is usually the case in most places, and it certainly didn't stop us having any fun!

Took a group of 11 guys here for a stag do. Great facility. Friendly and approachable staff. I'd never been paintball before and it was much more fun than I was expecting.

We did the 500 ball package which was pretty good value and got us through about 5 games which took us two hours with an extra shoot out at the end. Five games was a lot of exercise! I was shattered. Be prepared to squat a lot.

The games were varied and interesting. It was good fun being mixed up with some other parties. It did get pretty full at one point. The teams were not always balanced we had one were the numbers were quiet uneven but that worked well for the mission we had. However towards the end of our session when some much more experienced players joined and they were all on one side it got old quick.

Top tip - The floor is pretty slippy I wish I'd choosen grippier shoes to wear!
