This is another typical Edinburgh bistro, where 1st impressions can be misleading when you get through the door. It's not large and if you are looking for salubrious, it a'int.
But the food is very good and well-presented with a menu & daily specials on the usual blackboard.
Staff were very friendly.
The only problem I saw of people standing around was not helped by the lunchtime 'Tea 'n Cake' brigade taking up tables whilst not spending too much money and sitting chatting/reading/whatever once finished
Stovies & Sausage and Baked Potato with a Beef Goulash, Cappucino, Stella and a Slice of Banoffee Pie (2 spoons) was under £20
