This is were we stayed for our first two nights in Scotland, and Edinburgh. After 20 hours of airports and jets, driving at night in a foreign city and running into numerous construction diversions, we couldn't find the hotel. When we got to within 4 blocks of Hotel Indigo, the night manager walked to where we were parked and guided us to the hotel - incredible service! And such a welcome to Edinburgh. The room was a mixture of old and new styles and a very classy. We had good meals and drinks there. Everyone from the front desk to the bar to the restaurant were very nice. A small but very complete hotel in an old building. The fact that the street the hotel is on is closed due to construction is why I give it lower marks for location. Other than that, its close to many attractions
