Superb quality and attention to detail. There was a receptionist called Albert and I would employ him anywhere- very friendly, efficient and went the extra mile.

The rooms are tastefully furnished and liked the TV at the end of the bed.

Just had an overnight stay at this hotel. Other than having difficulty getting into it due to roadwork outside the hotel, this small boutique hotel hits the mark in every way.
Staff, courteous and friendly and more than happy to help.
Room. Outstanding and modern with beautiful furnishings that made this room stand out with the wow factor.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to suit as opposed to sitting in trays for hours.
We had a king superior room which has a small seperate office area fo me to work from.
Well thought out and funky hotel. Well done

Really enjoyed our one night stay at the Indigo. We were lucky to stay free as I claimed on the IHG Best Price Guarantee and found the hotel to be clean and fresh, the staff pleasant and breakfast very tasty, if a little bit slow. The room we were given was on the lower ground floor and was very small and quite dark - if I'd been paying full price for the hotel I don't think I'd have been very happy but it was a freebie! There was no hair dryer in the room, which I find strange for a 4* hotel, and when we eventually managed to get one the plug points were sparse and it was impossible to find one near a mirror. Overall a good hotel in a superb location, marred only by the horrific Edinburgh tram roadworks!!

Room Tip: Room 001 is very small and quite dark.

Where do I start......Great location, room was amazing, staff were by far the best I have ever experienced in the UK, they were polite and very knowledgeable. Complimentary bits in the fridge and a lovely little gift for our anniversary.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wishes to spend a weekend in Edinburgh. Simply wonderful.

Nothing to complain about and central enough to talk everywhere in the city.
Parking in the shopping centre behind is a bit of a pain due to no lifts...but not so bad!
Enjoyed our stay and have already recommended to friends.

This hotel was a perfect choice for a short stay in Edinburgh- central but quiet location and small but perfectly appointed rooms. I also ate at the hotel restaurant one night and it was great food for a very reasonable price.
