This is a lovely hotel that is in an old adapted building. The older building means that the layout is a little strange, walking through different corridors to get to rooms. There is a form of eco or energy efficient lighting in the internal corridors, as lights come on automatically as you walk along the corridors. The rooms are lovely, nice and clean and very comfortable. The bed has a topper and is very comfortable, but it may be worth noting the beds are quite high. The bathroom is also lovely, with a great rainfall style shower. The staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough to help.
The hotel is good for the new town and is in easy walking distance of the Omni Center. The only negative is parking. The hotel does not have its own parking on site. They have leased some parking spaces in a car park that is nearby, a 3 - 5 minute walk at moderate pace. This would mean it may not suitable for disabled drivers. The parking also has to be booked in advance as there are not many spaces.More
