“Wonderful acoustic - badly in need of a refurb”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Currently home to the marvellous Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the fantastic programme of morning concerts for the Edinburgh Festival. This former church delivers acoustically but is otherwise looking tired and badly in need of investment.

“Gretchen Peters is just amazing”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Another great music gig at the Queens hall. Gretchen's voice is just brilliant and she made me cry at least twice! Why was it not a sell out? Just wish the seats at the Queens hall were comfier - always leave with a sore bum.

“flexible ad intimate venue”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

I was there twice in one week, once to see the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and once for a band. Both gigs were excellent, the venue lent itself very well to both occasions and the staff were great

“Queens hall”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

I was at the Love and Money gig at the Queens Hall. I really enjoyed the laid back and friendly vibe , the staff were all helpful and an easy to access bar, nice to be treated as a customer, most gigs these days are staged in manky venues with a byre for a toilet, well done.

“Paul Carrack at the Queens Hall.........simply fantastic!”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

In a very packed intimate atmosphere Paul held the audience for one hour forty minutes with a set which included something old and new and borrowed. Showing tremendous versitality using his full range of instrument playing abilities with fabulous backup he gave what we all wanted. A fantastic evening! Thanks Paul. Quirky hall but sound and lighting was spot on.
