For the main tourist information centre in the capital city of country that is a major tourist destination the disabled access and signing for disabled is very bad. It also affects families with baby buggies.
The information centre is surrounded by steps. The building work on Waverley Steps has interfered with disabled routes. The lift is out of action and no alternate is provided. The signage for disabled route assumes local knowledge to able to find the entrances described (when arrows should be used).
It is very bad and unwelcoming. Not how a major tourist information centre should be.
