We spent almost three hours at the Camera Obscura and everyone had an excellent time and were enthralled from start to finish.

“Fun For All The Family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

Had heard so many positive reports about Camera Obscura yet we were still a bit unsure what we were going to find : we were not disappointed !
Three generations of our family had a lovely time looking at and exploring all the mind blowing illusions on display, and learning about the original camera obscura was very interesting.
Enjoyment from this tourist attraction comes at different levels but I believe it is ideal for all ages .

“This is not your ordinary tourist-trap attraction ...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

Not something you would expect to find in a place like Edinburgh either! But well worth it. We had a great time playing with all the hands on stuff. And I for one enjoyed the camera built into the top of the building.

Both adults and teens 15 and 18 yr old boys loved this place - you need a couple of hrs plus the time slot for seeing the Obscura

I went with my boyfriend and my brother and my sister in law.
We just arived in Edinburgh and started our day with the Camera Obscura tour.
PLEASE NOTE: we had the 3 day edinburgh pass, so we just walked in and didnt need to pay anything.
It was really interesting to learn a bit more about the camera obscura self and just do fun things,
the spinning tunnel is really mind blowing! it's sooo strange but fun!

Really a recommending thing to do!

got 5 points!
