“Good, but not Excellent.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

A very interesting and fun place. Worth a visit, but perhaps if you are in a 20's or above group, go in the evening, as the place seemed very busy with children running around. Also, call me an old fart, but the 'show' in the top part was completely aimed at kids, and isn't worth doing unless you are <8 years old. The person 'hosting' the show spoke like a 4 year old and to be honest it became quite annoying for those of us not with children.

Despite these negatives, it's still a good attraction and I would recommend it.

Hello there. We are delighted you enjoyed the visit and had such a great afternoon! As you suggest, it can be a fun way of spending a few hours, especially when the Edinburgh weather is telling us we would be better off indoors! Thanks for your visit and we look forward to seeing you another time.

“Fun with the Family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

We started from the top and worked our way down. Even though our group consisted of 2 adults, 2 young adults and one 12 year year old, we had soo much fun gaining hands-on understanding of basic science concepts. The actual show at the top was also interesting. It was a truly memorable experience and we would definitely return :)

“Great Place, Good Value for Money”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

3 of us went (all adults) not really sure what to expect.
We went just before lunch time, but then they let you leave to get lunch or coffee using a hand stamping system (which is great as you can go in and out until the attraction closes, which gives you great value for money)
There are some really interesting exhibitions, with some great interactive ones for the young or the young at heart.
There is also a rooftop terrace, where you can get a fabulous view over edinburgh, and use all of the telescopes/binoculars to spot the sights.
Really glad we went to visit.

Hello and thanks for giving us your feedback on our All-Day Ticket. As you rightly say, all our visitors are welcome to come and go as please if they fancy having a break, or want to nip out for a coffee or lunch. We are still open late until 8pm right though till this Sunday 24th February to give everyone on half-term holiday the best opportunity to get the most out of their visit. So pleased you found us good value for money too!
