“Great way to spend a few hours!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

What a wonderful way to spend a few hours! On a rainy (who knew?) day in Edinburgh - we decided to spend some time at the Camera Obscura. Although it was rainy - we still enjoyed the camera and my teenage son just loved it. We worked our way thru the museum and enjoyed the exhibits and my son also enjoyed the gift shop. Lots of really neat things. A great afternoon!

“Great way to spend a hour or Two!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

We visited this place with friends on a sunday morning. Cost was £12 each. We have never visited a place like it before so it was a great way to spend a hour. We havent got kids and we all enjoyed it. The best part is the view from the top. Highly recommend.

Hello and thanks for giving us a go. This is a great place to come with friends and we’re getting a bit of a reputation as being a great place for a date, so with Valentine’s day imminent….

“Lots of fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

This is the second visit to the camera obscura and the world of illusions. Both times we all had a great time. Our children love all the floors and they had a ball on the mirrors maze. This time it was a dull and dark day so the view of Edinburgh was not clear as we saw the first time we expirience. The girl giving the tour though was very good and we really enjoy this part! Her name was liz or luise.
We defenitely recommend this to everyone, expecially family with children. Remember to bring a camera because there are many ‘funny’ opportunities to take a shot

Thanks for visiting, not once but twice! The Mirror Maze is proving to be a big hit with our visitors, if they can find their way out! We’ll pass on your comments to your guide, Liz who loves showing people the camera obscura. As you say, bring a camera – we encourage our visitors to take as many photos as they like.
