We enjoyed this attraction. It's good for kids and adults alike. It's based in a townhouse with only stairs so you must be prepared to walk up a few flights of stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's very interactive and informative.

Hello and thanks for your feedback. Really glad you enjoyed your visit and sorry about the stairs - unfortunately, when we carried out a feasibility study a few years ago we were told that it was not an option to install lifts in our 17th century building. To make the climb to the top that bit easier we do have seats in the exhibition areas on every one of the five floors and the view from the top makes it all worthwhile! We’ll pass on your kind comments to the staff too – thanks again.

We took our 3 (Aged 7, 10 & 13) children here and although they were not looking forward to it came out wishing that they stayed open longer. There is so much to see and do here and can keep all of the children entertained for hours. If your kids like puzzles then they will love here.

Only slight criticism we have is that it's expensive for what it is.....nearly £50 for 2 adults and 3 kids :(

Hello and thank you for letting us know about your visit. We are delighted you and your children had fun – it’s always nice to prove them wrong! Many of our visitors mentioned that they would like longer to play so we have extended our opening hours until 8pm from Mon 15 Oct till Sun 4 Nov. We are sorry that you found the admission price expensive but I hope you saw when you came in that we offer a full money-back guarantee so if you hadn’t enjoyed any aspect of the visit, we would have been happy to have offered you a full refund. Tickets are also valid all day – just asked to get a hand stamp and you are free to come and go as you please. We hope that the visit left you with the impression that it was money well spent.

We really enjoyed our visit in Camera Obscura.
Although we've already seen many of the illusions in some other museums, still it was a great fun.
WORTH A VISIT!
