Terror Tour didn't scary at all! and where's the free drink that noticed in the brochure ? 12£ is too much money for this tour, luckely we paid with the Edinburgh pass. The tourguide speaks cleary en loudy enough that's the only possitve at this tour.

Dear Sir,
We are sorry to hear that you didnt enjoy the Tour. We no longer offer free drinks at the end of Tours as this offer finished last summer. There is also no indication of free drinks on our current flyers.
Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback.
Regards,
Auld Reekie Tours

There was a very large group, and the tour guide done well to control us all. There wasn't a a lot of history given, just a few basic snippets. The vaults were interesting, cold, dark and damp. I didn't find it scary, maybe it was just me. If you would like to see parts of Edinburgh you will never normally see its worth going on. If you want a scare I wouldn't bother.

Thank Julie H

Our guide "Peter" ruined the terror tour for us... he seemed so much in a hurry, just wanted the tour to end so he could kick back home... "terror tour" started by a 25 minutes speech on the Edinburgh litterature history, not at all what you expect for a ghost tour !

He was in such a hurry that we almost ran in the vaults, anecdotes were nice but only a few on the way.

I'm sure it can be a frightening experience but you have to avoid saturday nights and avoid "Peter" the german guide at all costs !

went on a 9pm tour, thought it would be scary but this was not the case, gained an insight into vaults but was not so clear that you could understand fully....walk at beginning of tour served little purpose...ok for what you pay

We did the Ghost and Torture tour lastnight (Feb 28) with Rachel as our guide. She was an excellent guide and very informative and friendly. The more "manufactured" scares were sufficiently mixed in with the eerily deep sense of something not quite normal up in the vaults.
If anything this tour as opened up my interest in the incredibly history of Edinburgh even more. I highly recommend this tour, but if you do go...do us a favour...don't chat with your friends all the way around...it does sort of ruin it for the rest of us!
