We stayed at the hotel for three nights in mid- February and were well satisfied. The appointments are new and very complete, including a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer all in a small efficient space. In New Town, but an easy walk to Old Town and the Castle, Palace and Royal Mile. Plenty of good places to eat within easy walking distance. Would stay here again

Room Tip: Higher is always better, but the street is so lightly traveled I don't think location matters.

24 Hour very welcoming reception
Fun car parking as you have to go down in a car lift to the lower level (£12 per day, ONLY for small cars - hotel will advise)
Very stylish rooms with great TVs and surround sound system/Blu-ray player. Comfy bed (although this is two beds put together...)
Take ear plugs as we had trouble sleeping on the first night due to cars driving past.
Great location, 10min walk to the centre. Really recommend!

Room Tip: Ask for a front facing room with a bath. Any upgrades are EXACTLY the same room but just slightly bi...

The hotel is a few blocks from the train station about 15 min. walking and a few blocks from the Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile.
The apartment has everything that you will need, oven, microwave dishwasher and washer machine. The wifi works fine but it will not aloud video stream like you tube.
The size of the place is big compare to other places, especially for a couple. The shower is fine and it is very clean.
My only problem will be with a little details like the wires of the shades of the windows are broken and the shade doesn’t adjust properly. The bed is not great, it is soft and I keep rolling into the middle of the bed. The side of the hotel where we were staying it can be noisy since it seems that several times at night and during the morning there was a garbage truck picking glass but hotel provides earplugs for sleep.
Overall we enjoy our stay and if we go back to Edinburgh we will definitely stay there again.

I stayed for a week whilst working in Edinburgh and have stayed in a few different city centre apartments, this was the best so far both in terms of room spec and price.

Had everything you needed and the spec of the rooms is really high, you can't really see in the pictures but everything is high quality.

Would definitely stay again.

We found this apartment very cozy with nice amenities that you don't find in a regular hotel. It's like a home awary from home. It is close to shopping (George St. and Prince St), yet off the hustle bustle of the city. Sandwiched between two rivalry pubs, Oxford and Cambridge, it has a lot of personality. We enjoyed discounts to some great restaurants, namely Ryans and Zizzi. In fact we enjoyed Zizzi twice, the food was so good! We really thought we received great value for this superb accomodation.

We stayed here for three nights. The apartment was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The bed was huge and all the linen and towels were of good quality. There was plenty of space and it was lovely and warm. The only minor downside is that you look straight out onto another building across the narrow back lane (our room did anyway) and when the people were at work we had to keep the bedroom blinds down. We asked the manager to consider net curtains in the bedroom which would help. That's the only little criticism though. Really nice stay and thoroughly recommended. We would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: All rooms looked good.

With regard to the windows- the back facing windows have a mirror tinted finish, guests can see out however they offer privacy with people not being able to see in.
