Booked a short break with our young kids as we always have a nice time with premier inns as its affordable for us all to get out and see the city too. Was a bit worried that the car/garage desert around us would make it a bit bleak, but was our best find so far. Staff lovely and welcoming, room spotless, food first class and a remarkably peaceful sleep 'given the nearby airport. Great stuff 10 out of 10.

Arrived late - plenty of parking even on a Saturday night and quickly checked in with the automated kiosks, a very simple process. Staff member popped their head round to check everything was alright. Room was basic, but clean and a very comfortable bed. Despite the window facing out toward the M9 motorway couldn't hear a thing, so good soundproofing on the windows. Breakfast not included in the room price, but very good value at £8.95 per person for an effectively unlimited breakfast buffet of hot and cold food - the quality was v. good.

Downsides? If you don't have a car the site is a little out on a limb, but there is a bus stop around 5 minutes walk away with a regular service into Edinburgh (every 30 mins during day) - that said, with a car you're adjacent to both the M8 and M9 for easy access. Oh, and the vending machines on the ground floor all seemed to have an issue with Scottish bank notes - not very good.

Overall an excellent stay - would recommend for a quick night's stay. If you're in the area for longer somewhere closer to the centre of town may be preferable.

WARNING this hotel is nowhere near the airport and there aren't any regular transport links to airport or the city so be prepared for an expensive taxi fare. Not the best way to start your cheap get away. Room was ok but was cold on arrival and heater was noisy. Didn't eat in restaurant but drink prices in bar were reasonalble. Shame about its location, should not be advertised as an airport hotel.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your review of the Edinburgh Airport Newbridge Premier Inn.
I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the location. We are situated less than 3miles from the airport and use a taxi company at a fixed rate of £8 that will take guests there.
There is also a bus stop that is a 5minute walk and that takes you in to edinbugh, I hope this information helps you.

I will ensure your comments are shared with our team.

Stayed in this hotel for a night en-route to a training course. It's a relatively new hotel, so the rooms are clean and fresh. The room was nice and spacious with a flat screen TV, and plenty of channel choice. The bathroom has a bath with an over-bath shower. I had breakfast in the morning and the service was great, with the staff being really attentive. Plenty of choice for everyone whether you're having a continental breakfast or the full hot offer.

My room was facing the M9 and when I arrived just after 9pm I couldn't really hear any traffic noise. I was more aware of it in the morning though when the traffic levels were a bit heavier.

The hotel is not on the airport site, but approximately 5 - 8 minutes drive away, which is worth bearing in mind if you are looking for somewhere before an early morning flight etc. It's easy enough to find if you're driving but as it's in the middle of a car sales estate, there are not any other facilities nearby. The restaurant and bar was busy when I arrived, with evening meals served up until 21:45

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, you might be better asking for a room on the car park side rather tha...

We stayed for 4 nights over half term, 2 adults and one child. Our room was spacious and modern, with a big bathroom, good shower and full sized bath. We would certainly stay there again as it was a convenient location to get into Edinburgh and to see our family who live nearby. Excellent value for money bed and breakfast.

This Premier Inn is the standard by which all Premier Inns SHOULD be run.
The staff helpful, curtious and willing to give that little extra to make sure our stay was perfect.
Close to the Airport but far enough away so as not to be disturbed by aircraft taking off and landing.
The restaurant food was of high standard and the staff again friendly and attentive.
The rooms were sparkling clean. Always a good sign.
By far the best Premier Inn to date
