Owner description: Holyrood Park is a unique historic landscape in the heart of the city, whose dramatic crags and hills give Edinburgh its distinctive skyline. Within the park is a wealth of history and archaeology spanning thousands of years. Arthur's Seat is one of four hill forts, dating from around 2,000 years ago. As well as it's rich cultural heritage, the park offers walks, solace, wildlife, volcanic geology and unparalleled vistas of the city from its many vantage points.

Everything about this area of Edinburgh is fantastic, I just love it. Having stayed over at the other side George street, etc Holyrood is now my absolute area of choice

It is worth a visit. The Abbey next to the castle is quite stunning as it the mountain range on the other side.

Very peaceful just to have a quiet walk away from the hustle and bustle of the Royal Mile.

Is beautiful well cared for and has a play park for children. Great walk and two Lochs. The Council maintain this park very well with a great view of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Castle the craggs and St Margarets Chapel. Beautiful with the swans and ducks in the Loch. So beautiful. Do not believe me go and look for yourself a whole day out walking getting fit in beautiful surroundings.
