“Excellent accommodation in a central location”
Reviewed December 30, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

The apartment is superb, well presented and with everything you need. Communication from the owner was excellent right from our initial booking. The minor detail of a pint of milk was especially welcome after our journey. The only negative point are the stairs to the apartment, but they kept us fit and we tried to only climb them once a day! We would certainly book again if we revisited Edinburgh.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review, and it's good to hear that you enjoyed the apartment at Cordiner's Land. Sorry about the climb up to the top floor; of course, the apartments in the Old Town were originally built in the 19th century without a lift, and it's not practical to install lifts in many of these buildings. We hope to be able to welcome you again at some point in the future. Regards

“Perfect Location”
Reviewed April 10, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

I absolutely loved the apartment. It is well furnished, big bright kitchen, perfect location for accessing local sights. Easy walk to the train station. I stayed 2 weeks, and could have easily stayed longer. Would definitely stay there again.

“Amazing Location and great accomodation”
Reviewed February 26, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Loved staying in the Cordiner's Land apartment. It was comfortable, roomy, and in the perfect location for being able to tour around the city easily. VRS was easy to communicate with and was very helpful in finding us a location that would work for our dates and needs.

“Great location, close to all amenities.”
Reviewed January 4, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

A lovely comfortable large apartment on the fourth floor, which has to be considered if travelling with young children or the older generation. My only issue was the expensive car parking as there is no parking at the Apartment.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Parking in the centre of Edinburgh is quite difficult and, as you point out, the multistorey car parks are quite expensive. Because most sights are within walking distance of our city-centre properties, we recommend that if guests can arrive by train or plane, then this is preferrable. We also have some apartments near to the centre with free on-street parking, and we have one or two central properties with parking attached, so please ask for advice on parking if you will be travelling by car. Kind regards, Martin, Vacation Rentals Scotland

“Lovely flat with a great location”
Reviewed December 21, 2015 for a stay in December 2015

This flat exceeded our expectations for a mini-break in Edinburgh.

Right in the heart of the Old Town, with views of the castle, a 2 minute walk to the bars and restaurants of Grassmarket, round the corner from the theatre and comfortably walkable from Waverly station.

Inside it was also a lot bigger than expected - with a huge kitchen diner (with all the crockery and cookware you could need + fridge, freezer, microwave, full oven, dishwasher and washing machine), big living room with comfy couch and chairs and good-sized bedroom too boot.

The guide was informative and helpful and all our communications with the owners were friendly and helpful.

Overall, great place to stay in the city - I'd heartily recommend it.
