2 minutes walk from edinburgh waverly train station, just hidden away off princes street. Rooms were cosy, hotel clean n tidy throughout, friendly helpful staff would stay here again. Located at the bottom of calton hill, a short walk up to the top u will find a wonderful view of the city. The only downside was the evening meal where the burgers were still bloody in the middle!! Lovely breakfasts, good choice.

The location of the hotel is perfect for all city centre activities. We stayed overnight when visiting the Festival theatre (5-10 minute walk). We were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite from a twin room! Nicely decorated, clean room with a brilliant shower. Overall happy with the hotel.

However... there was a kettle, tea etc but with no cups to drink it in. We had booked and paid for breakfast but when we checked in this wasnt on our reservation. When checking out, the price was incorrect on the invoice and needed to be pointed out.

Saying that though, was a warm, cosy and comfortable stay and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the city centre.

Room Tip: Suite - Room 8 - was a little noisy from traffic. However it was a Saturday night we stayed.

Was very impressed with Parliament House! The hotel is in a very central location and has warm, clean and cosy rooms. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was good but could be improved. The hotel is situated right next to the new town and by the Playhouse and Calton Hill monuments, the perfect location for site seers! It is worth noting that the hotel is located up a steep hill, which is not ideal for older people. Our stay was great value for money and I'd recommend Parliament House to any couple/group of friends visiting Edinburgh.

Very fancy hotel. Rooms completely clean and beautifully decorated. Nice Scottish feel to it if you are a tourist. Located very central, 5 minutes from the main train station and is near restaurants and other entertainment. The food in the restaurant was pricey but really really tasty.

I spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel. After a day sightseeing in the rain it was a real treat to get back and sit in front of the fire. The rooms were great and the showers were really powerful. Very enjoyable stay.

Just returned from a stay here - we loved it!
It was warm, cosy and clean, breakfast was great and location is perfect for Princes Street and the Festival theatre.
Very quiet and room really nice with a big comfy bed - we didn't hear a sound all night despite the central location.
Like a little country house hotel complete with log fires but in a city centre location - we will definitely be back!!
We got a bargain price on late rooms too!! :-)

Phoned ahead to ask for room with view, lovely room , comfortable bed, bathroom small but very warm and if window opened you can sit in bath and look out to river and Edinburgh....a bit like having a spa in your room!
Breakfast fine, a good value hotel near to theatre. We ate in Field restaurant which if you eat pre theatre again is very good value. Would definitely use again .
