For a city centre guest house Emmaus House is great value: 10-15 minutes walk to the city centre but a little oasis of peace and relaxation amongst it all. The team running it are a big part of that, making you feel you are in a home from home, and serving delicious homemade meals. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
But I also loved the things you won't get in most guest houses: a labyrinth and chapel in the garden, and the most comfortable lounge with a whole wall of books to browse. The perfect antidote to the noise and bustle of sightseeing. Thank you all.
