“The best of Edinburgh”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We defied the snow and ice and walked up the hill although we fell a couple of times on the way down because of the ice. Its the 1st thing you do when u get to Edinburgh.

“Overlook Edinburgh”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

This is a must-visit in Edinburgh. You will get to witness some great views, take some great photos and get a little exercise in the process. Just a warning there are a number of stairs to get to the top. Also it can get a bit windy so bundle up! We went early in the day and found ourselves mostly alone on the hill. It is also nice that you can walk up here without having to pay a fee.

Especially nice to see the recognizable Dugald Stewart Monument, Nelson Monument and the National Monument.

This is maybe not the most exciting place for kids, but there is plenty of space to run around like crazy!

“One of the best views in Edinburgh”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

The title says it all really. An easy climb to a small hill in a great location for views over Princes Street and Leith. A good place to see Arthur's Seat and get some post card pictures of one of the most beautiful cities in the World. And it's free!

“Nice Vantage point”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Gives a really nice overview of the city and on a sunny day (or a night to watch fireworks) its really worth a visit. However a lot of the information points are vandalised- the risk of any public area. It was lovely to sit in the sun and watch the world go by, but your visit to Edinburgh isn't going to be ruined if you decide not to go- your not missing much.
