Wonderful experience of politics. The exhibition on the ground floor was interesting and even had robotic bag pipes. The debating chamber is impressive. Most of all we enjoyed being able to spend time in the heart of Scottish democracy.

This is lovely that they allow public access to this building. The architecture is amazing and there is usually an informative exhibition regarding a theme from Scottish history in the main hall of the building. The debating chamber is the main draw though.

Was not sure if we would enjoy this tour, however, it was made really interesting by our guide Helen and the visit was particularly relevant as the vote for Independence approaches.
Take time over this tour. There is a café and you can spend time in the debating chamber afterwards.
Really enjoyable.

Have been to Edinburgh before but never been in the parliament not sure if it's newly open to the public . Thought would go in and have a look around . Doesn't take long to look round but admission is free and there is a shop and cafe inside . The chamber is impressive and worth walking up the stairs to tho am sure there is a lift too for those who need it . Personally I think the building is impressive although I appreciate it's not to everyone's taste . Would go look round again if I was in the area
