“A haven of tranquility from modern life”

Definitely somewhere to visit when in Edinburgh - walking around looking at the plants and sculptures followed by a stop over in the cafe is a great way to spend a lazy afternoon, especially if you have kids with you. If you are lucky you might even catch a performance talking place!

“Interesting visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2013

Went during a very cold March trip to Edinburgh. Probably not the best time to go, but still interesting, and free. (NB You pay if you want to go into the hot house).

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2013

You can get here from one of the tour buses out of the city. Couldn't believe it was free to get in.
You pay £5.00 to get into the glass houses, these are magnificent. So much to see, we went in March and the flowers were just started to flower must be a mass of colour later in the year.
My top attraction from our weekend away

“Rather twee and expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

The best feature is the views; but the portions are small and expensive although interesting and original. I'm not tempted to go back!
