“Brimming with history and atmosphere”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

The Royal mile is such an impressive street to walk up or down or both. It is brimming with history from Edinburgh Castle at one end to Holyrood Palace at the other. We found all the pubs and restaurants very friendly and well priced and loved the little alleys and tunnels leading off at every opportunity. Edinburgh is a wonderful city and the Royal Mile really encompasses all that is good about it, history mixed with the modern and really friendly people

I visit Edinburgh quite a lot due to having family there. The royal mile is a great attraction with lots to do, plenty of shops, good resterant and other attractions. I got my rook pierced at Tribal Body Art and the service was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone.

“Free - street”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

Royal Mile is a famous and the original street of old Edinburgh. Much of it is pedestrian friendly so take your time and stroll along the street.
