Excellent group of pubs along the Royal Mile. Hit two or three and then go grab some food. Suggest you only have one drink at each pub though.

the royal mile is a treat, it is kept so clean and tidy, wardens on parol are visable as are cleaning crews, very impressive. The many eateries, pubs, cafe etc are so well kept and value for money, well done!!!!!!

Fairly nice walk. Lot's of shops, sadly it's only touristshops that sell the same stuff. During the walk you pass a lot of restaurants and a church. When the sun shines, or may I say IF the sun shines, it's a very lovely walk.

The Royal Mile is the jewel in Edinburgh's quite impressive crown. The architecture is impressive, really old street walks and intriguing little alleyways between every couple of shops. Always loads of street performances and novelty acts going on. Bagpipes, over excited tourists and the magnificent castle at the top end.

Always a great atmosphere.

Open spaces with quality shops and beautiful architecture, makes shopping a pleasure again. Streets punctuated with bistros and coffee shops.
