Had a Groupon deal for 4 tapas and cocktails. We had Chilli Tandoori King Prawns, Shellfish Stew, Ginger Fish Stew, Queen Scallops in Chilli Sauce and 2 Chilli Naan Bread. All the food was freshly cooked and very tasty, especially the Ginger Fish Stew. The 4 Tapas dishes were plenty for us along with the Naan Bread to mop up the delicious sauces. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Indian food and we will certainly be back again.

We purchased a Groupon deal for 4 tapas and a cocktail which seemed like good value. We had oysters, scallops and 2 curry dishes and bought a naan, some rice, pakora and onions on the side. The 4 "seared" scallops were the size of peas, covered in a sweet sickly sauce and placed on shells to make them look more substantial I expect. The pakora appeared to be reheated as it was hard and dry and my chicken dish tasted off and I didn't eat it. The Groupon cocktail list looked exciting with exotic ingredients I had never heard of but turned out it was just bad spelling......very small measures and could barely taste the alcohol. Left feeling hungry and cheated....so many lovely restaurants in Leith and will definitely return, but not to Guchhi.

Given my husband is a great fan of Indian food and prefers lots of different dishes to try rather than one meal and we were staying a couple of hundred yards from Guchhi's it was an easy choice of restaurant.
We started with lovely crispy poppadums and the most delicious spiced onions we had ever had then opted for five different tapas dishes accompanied with rice and a garlic naan.
We chose a good range of dishes, with different strengths of sauce containing lamb, fish and chicken and were delighted with every single one.
My particular favourite was Khatti Mithi Machhi, which was haddock in a sweet and sour sauce.
The service was excellent and friendly and the manager even took the time to chat to us to find out where we were from.
With so many other dishes on the menu we want to try we will definitely be making a return visit.
Highly recommended.
