It’s great to learn that you had such a fantastic tour of the five decks. Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review.
I found it interesting but I'm not crazy about the whole "royal pomp and circumstance."
Interesting to see how the Queen got around from country to country and her idiosyncrasies about certain things.
Would do it if you have time but if you don't, no big loss, grab a pint in town instead.
(Note: we walked there from town, it's walkable, and found that fascinating in itself to see how the real Scots live, but took an Uber back to save time.)
Thank you for visiting Britannia. We are pleased to learn that you thought the tour was interesting. For the information of others, Britannia is accessible by bus with numbers 11, 22 and 300 travelling from the city centre for £1.60 each way (correct change needed). Thank you for your review.
Any visit to Edinburgh should include a visit to the Royal Yacht.
This is a very sensitively presented exhibition.
We are delighted that you consider Britannia to be the best attraction in Scotland! Thank you very much for visiting and for your review.
We visited the royal yacht with friends from germany who found the ship had an amazing amount of history . The auto commentary gave a great insight into life on board the ship. Also loved the fudge that is made onboard . Overall well worth a visit
It’s lovely to learn that you had a really interesting visit. As you say, we make our Britannia fudge on board in our very own NAAFI; our resident confectioner will be delighted that you loved it. Thank you very much for your review.
Royal past time really. If you like seeing where the Queens bedroom and how a few people can really enjoy taxpayers money then go for it. Good weather is important but really seriously not worth it.
The tea room is a good idea, when you need a break.
Thank you for visiting Britannia. We are pleased to learn that you liked our Royal Deck Tea Room. For the information of others, Britannia is an all-weather attraction with the majority of the tour under cover. We are very proud to say that Britannia has been rated as Scotland’s Best Visitor Attraction for the last 11 years and in TripAdvisor’s UK Top 10 for 5 years running.
A piece of modern history. Self guided tour with a 28 stationtalking handset. Commentary interesting but not so long as to be boring. Lovely restaurant with excellent well priced food. Service staff just delightful as were the whole Britannia Team. If you have limited time allocate half a day - you will not be disappointed.
Thank you for visiting Britannia. It’s lovely to learn that you thought the tour was perfect and we will make sure to pass on your kind words to all of our team. Thank you so much for your kind review.
