Arrived for a Sunday night stay.
Double room booked for two people but only one set of towels provided.
Rachel the evening receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
Didn't eat at the hotel as the next door pub had a wider selection.
Also didn't use the Wifi
Ample car parking.
We went into Edinburgh centre on the tram (tram stop about 15 minutes walk).
After a disappointment in the Greyfriars Bobby we went from the centre by tram to the Gyle Shopping Centre for a quick bite before departing early evening and returned to the hotel by bus (no12).The same bus could have been used to go to the city centre. Stop less than 200 yards from the hotel.
This hotel gave us everything we needed for a one night stay. The staff were very friendly in the morning also.
The place is still very new (less than 2 months since opening when we visited)
No luxuries but good value basic, clean accommodation.More
