Visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening after reading good reviews. Was offered the regular menu and set early evening menu of 2 courses and a coffee for 13.95 as we were there before 7.
Set menu had a varied range of foods and seemed very reasonable for what was on offer so we opted for tgat. Both courses were lovely ! We left just enough room for desert which was great too. Service first class from entering to leaving.Looking forward to coming back soon! =D

If you are looking for a great Thai food experience Port of Siam is where you should definitely go! Hidden in the north part of Edinburgh Port of Siam can offer you an amazing food for a great value. I've organized there a birthday dinner party recently. Restaurant itself is quite small so I sent an email first to ask if we could squeeze in 20+ people for a Tuesday tapas night for around 7pm. A very nice guy called me back and offered me the whole place just for our party if we decide to start our dinner after 8. Of course we said YES. Tuesday tapas night is probably the best idea for a cheerful and relax dinner, where you can share your amazing food with your friends. Prawn tempura, beef sticks, spring rolls were to kill for. Fresh mussels cooked in Thai broth, another strong point of this menu but lets not forget about soups, which were simply delicious. Staff was friendly, very helpful, professional and organized. We all know how hard is to please 22 people when you look for a place to eat but all of them left Port of Siam with a big smile on their faces and great memories. We will def come back there in the near future.
Best Thai food in the city!!!

Had forgotten this cheeky little Thai restaurant in Edinburgh's newhaven area, won't make that mistake again. Had a truly wonderful tasty meal last night - particular mention for the u5 prawn main dish, flavours galore and more than the suggested average 3 per dish. The restaurant may nit look like much from outside, however inside the smells and flavours are just amazing! Scallops with black pudding, dumplings, the prawns - we will definitely be back!!! Excellent service too from the 2 waiting staff.

Lovely little restaurant that has never failed to deliver over a number of visits. Friendly service, great menu choice, excellent quality food, reasonable prices. The scallops and black pudding starter was simply outstanding. Only one little comment, the wine could have been a bit colder. Still, Undoubtedly our local favourite.

Ate here recently for a family birthday - we all totally loved it!

The food is really exceptional quality, and very creative. The menu is a combination of traditional thai dishes and fusion dishes. Our party of four chose a combination of the two for starters and mains and we were blown away with the quality. Definitely the best thai food I have eaten.

It's a cosy little restaurant with maybe 20 covers, so atmosphere was on the quiet side when we arrived, but as it fills up the place becomes very relaxing. It occupies a really nice spot on the seafront and appears very unassuming as you approach.

Welcome from the staff was warm, and service throughout was attentive without being intrusive, warm and genuine. They clearly want you to enjoy yourself.

I can't fault a thing, and would really highly recommend this place. Would definitely return
