“Amazing place - don't miss!”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

On the outskirts of Edinburgh this place is like nothing else. Sculptured grass mounds like pyramids, and spherical cones in the grounds. Statues and other art work in a wood - very atmospheric. Our grandchildren love the place running up and round the grass mounds and exploring the woods looking at the statues, a huge gun, a spider's web, a ruined house! Great café as well.

“A hidden treasure in Central Scotland”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

Art, just the way it should be experienced.. within a living, breathing environment. The relationship between these inspired commissions by leading artists and sculptors and the landscape of the Artland allows visitors to feel the works, and relate to them on a very personal level. Jupiter is an incredible educational resource, and a very special place for all lovers of Art. Those who discover it, return again and again, and for good reason. I look forward to seeing where Nicky and Robert Wilson will take Jupiter next...

“One of the UK's finest sculpture gardens”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

Jupiter Artland is outside of Edinburgh and Glasgow and so a bit hard to get to, but it is worth the effort. The sculpture is scattered throughout a carefully planned woodland, and each piece is carefully set so that it can be viewed easily. The paths are easy to follow, and it's exciting to come upon a sculpture almost unexpected. Most of the major British sculptors are represented and several of the Americans. This is a place that will probably grow over the years. It is a sculpture garden to watch and return to.

“A magical experience.”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

A magical artland nestled among the woodland just outside the heart of Edinburgh. You arrive through the steely gates to another world. The artwork is fantastic and great for all ages; all my children loved it and my husband and i were stunned by the magical ethos of the place. Considering the standard of art ( which is fantastic) the price was not expensive, quite generous for the amount you get out of it. A big bonus was that we could spend the whole day there as there was a fabulous cafe that catered to all my families needs. Ranging from a delicious antipasto platter for me and my husband to a cheese toastie and pesto pasta for my children. I really recommend the place as you would be missing out a lot by not going. It really is worth the 30 mins drive out of Edinburgh.
