Had never heard of this amazing place until my Mum mentioned we take the kids during the summer holidays. So glad we went. The grounds are stunning, with the artwork hidden along the walk varying from beautifully creepy to weirdly wonderful. The Life Mounds were a big hit with the kids and they spent ages just exploring them. The weather was on our side when we visited, which made for some really brilliant photos - I won't post them on here though. You don't want any spoilers for the walk if you can avoid it! There is a lovely cafe on the site too, though it is a little pricey. You're not allowed a picnic in the grounds, so it might be an idea to fill up before you go. Really recommend this for people looking for something a little different than the usual trip to the park in the holidays, although I should mention that there is an entrance fee to get into the grounds. Well worth a look though!

The setting and artwork in the grounds are really interesting. The cafe is a bit quirky and pricey but very well done. On a hot day the trees gave us welcome relief from the heat.
It is possible just to go for a coffee or lunch and not pay for the wander around the grounds ( a 2 hour trip).
A most unusual and interesting day out for both grown ups and kids.

After a drive through very impressive gates and a long drive way we parked and had a perfect light lunch at the on site cafe. The map directed us around the grounds and told us about the wonderful art works to be discovered on our 2 hour walk. All the artworks were different and very interesting.
The only downside that I could see that there are parts that it would be impossible to see by wheelchair, due to steps and narrow bridges. But considering that is private property the paths were very well maintained.
We will be returning to check out the bits we missed and any new acquisitions.

A great evening of delicious food at the pop up restaurant run by Cateredinburgh and Barry Bryson at Jupiter Artland. A fab menu, interesting surroundings and lovely wine made for a really great evening out with friends. Will be looking for more of his pop up dinner events.

What a brilliant idea - Jupiter Artland is a fab way to spend a day out. The kids had a great time and we all thoroughly enjoyed our adventure in the woods. The cafe is very nice too with freshly baked cakes and delicious snacks/light bites. Bought an annual family ticket so we will definitely be back!
