There isn't much else to add to all the positive reviews. The place is simply perfect. We stayed here for 2 weeks in August (during the festival period) - got an excellent price and found a spotless apartment. We got to stay on the top floor - the views were breathtaking, On one side you could see the ocean on the other the old town and the castle. We actually even saw the fireworks from the Tattoo festival on Sundays. The manager(s) were very helpful and everything was organized perfectly by them. You have to walk about 25 minutes to get to High Street but the buses run regularly. However getting a bus ticket for more than one day can truly be a pain. If you are not in Edinburgh for a very long time, you can either get single fare tickets (I think it was £1.20 - you need to have the exact coins ready once you get on the bus, otherwise you won't get any change) or a day ticket for £3 (highly recommended because you can hop on and off at any time and on any lothian bus).
So overall, this is the one and only place that I'll stay at next time I'm in the Burgh :-)!

Oakhill is amazing - stayed there twice and will always go to them first after this when staying in Edinburgh. (And I say this as someone who usually loves staying in hotels...)

Great location - gets you right out of the noise of the city after a busy day - yet on main bus route and has plenty of secure parking if you're arriving by car.

Never had any noise from other occupants here - unlike many hotels with noisy kids, corridors and banging doors.

Very well equipped kitchens, with dishwasher and washing machine. Everything you need is on hand, from welcome basket of milk and goodies, washing up liquid and washing machine tabs, to lovely Arran Aromatics toiletries in the bathroom.

Beds are very cosy and clean, and 2-bed apartment has 2 bathrooms; huge flat screen TVs and DVD player in sitting room, and with comfortable sofas and a proper dining table and chairs - what more could you ask for?

A very useful welcome info pack is provided, as is a satellite TV service, and free weekend and evening telephone calls. You can get fast food delivered or go out to local shops and cook for yourself.

I made a couple of small suggestions after our first stay, on the feedback form - fully expecting they'd be ignored or binned, which is what I'd usually expect, to be honest - and found on my second stay that they had been acted upon. Now THAT'S good service!

Very impressive apartments, very impressively managed. Thanks so much for two wonderful stays - can't wait to come back.

Went with a couple that had never seen Edinburgh. We took an apartment that had 2 bedrooms and a shared living area. We bought groceries and snacks about 2 blocks away. Very convenient with a bus stop (No.1 Bus) that takes you right into town and up the Royal Mile. Safe, clean, secure neighborhood. The place seems brand new. Was not inexpensive, but was a very good value.

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment based on the great reviews in Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed - the apartment was very impressive. Each of the bedrooms was a good size; the kitchen was modern and well-equipped; there was a nice big flat screen TV (great to watch the World Cup matches on!) in the living room; free wireless internet access....all in all a great place to relax after a busy day's sightseeing.

Everything was spotlessly clean and there were a number of very thoughtful and much appreciated touches - for example there was a very nice welcome basket with various goodies such as snacks, a loaf of bread and breakfast cereals; another example was the fact that a boxful of detergent tabs was next to the washing machine. Ash, the general manager was extremely helpful, even before we arrived - in the process of making the booking I had various e-mails queries which he diligently answered - and this was on a Sunday!

It's a little out of the town centre (about a 10 minute drive) but this wasn't a problem for us as we had a hire car. When we went into central Edinburgh, we'd park in an NCP car park '(St Johns Hill) which had a great daily rate - 9 hours for about GBP8.50.

This place is great to stay! The service is personalized, they give quick responses and adapt to your needs. If you are flying to Edinburgh, take the taxi offered from them, they charge the same price as a normal taxi. The apartment decoration is with modern design, confortable beds, plasma tv, dvd, all facilities you need. The only inconvenience is the distance from the city center, around 20min walking, in other hand the area has all services, is quite and peacefull. The welcome breakfast basket they give you in the check in is just a sign of their care to make you everything perfect!
