Great healthy food and a great selection of veggie options too. A very charming and bonnie waiter too.

They know how to make a decent late and the cakes looked very tempting though I didn't try them.

I like the idea of farm fresh, good quality produce being used to create all the food served here.

“Excellent food and super friendly service”
Reviewed December 28, 2013 via mobile

First time to Edinburgh and received a very heartwarming welcome from the restaurant. Had their famous baked egg and smoked salmon which was excellent and tasty and felt light. Highly recommended and would definitely come back here. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Edinburgh !

“Great place for Breakfast on a cold day”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

Ate here after a big night out with friends. Staff were very friendly and welcoming - not always the case in the UK. Coffee was exceptional - again not always the case in the UK - but the highlight was the big breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, thick slabs of buttered toast, and home made beans. A great way to kick off a Sunday morning.

“Super Super friendly”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

Very friendly staff, made us feel so welcome and we had a good chat with the guy serving. Fantastic porridge and smoked salmon breakfast. I had the porridge with apricots and it was amazing, it was also a massive portion and the guy offered to pop the remainer in a take away cup so i could bring it with me! What a legend. Prices are reasonable considoring its right on the Royal mile. Highly recommended.
