“They may do one thing, but it's done well”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

We were after something straightforward and tasty for lunch and we got it. The pork was well cooked, not too dry and the size was just enough to fill us up. If you go definitely try it with the haggis- don't be put off by what its made of and what people say it might taste like, it's delicious!.We weren't looking to sit down but to wander the streets so lack of tables was not a problem for us. A great concept and a great lunch.

“Small tasty”
Reviewed January 11, 2013 via mobile

Good pork but no cracklin on menus. Upstairs was closed but a friendly place. Could add a bit of variety maybe pig eyes/brains or something

“Yummy pork”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

Most delicious juicy pork ive ever had.. Shame about the dull basic bun. Would have happily paid a bit extra for a nicer bun. Def worth a visit though if you're in Edinburgh. My son researched it before we went and asked to visit oink

“Make a pig of yourself”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

Walking down Victoria Street it is almost imposible to not see the beautiful hog roast in the window and smell the lovely aromas. Me and my wife tried it one day for lunch and wow what great food! Perfect spot for a quick tasty bite. Try the different rolls and sauces too.
