We stay three nights with friends at the Fraser Suites. The hotel is very well-located in old town, close to the castle where we enjoyed the Military Tatoo and close to the new town as well. The staff was very professional and efficient. We enjoyed a spacious room with a comfortable bed, small kitchen and well-equipped bathroom. They even added two electric fans as it was the hottest summer in Scotland for the past 20 years. Even if the hotel is located at the center of old town, we did not suffer from the noise of the Military Tatoo and Frindge festival with our room at the back of the hotel. I would tone my review down only on the breakfast not included in the high room rate. We recommend you to take your breakfast at the St. Giles coffee next door - friendly staff, good value for money. It is currently owned by a French - so the pastries and scones were delicious.More
