“Great Homemade Burgers!”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

Went to lunch here recently, the burgers are delicious, home made and everything is cooked fresh, there was a new girl serving us and she messed up the order, but all the staff were very helpful and immediately fixed it up & even ended up giving one of the burger meals for free because they got the order wrong. The wines really nice , as well as their choice of beer on the tap or ciders.

The interior is trendy, with comfy booths to sit in if its a bit cold out as well as a couple of couches & other different tables.

Would definitely come again ! :)

“Nice place to be”
Reviewed July 21, 2014

We ended up in 56 North on the night of the World Cup Final. The place was packed, but could see how hardly the staff was managing with the herd of customers. Comfy place to be, really liked the design, and the several big screens allowed to enjoy the match.
The only thing I did not like was I reckon the drinks are a bit expensive, no more than two would fit for a student budget. But since it's a lovely place, with great and kind staff, I believe they can pull it out. And we haven't ordered food, but I've seen the amazing idea of serving the fries in wee baskets. Star.

“Decent food that took a very long time to arrive”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

I ordered the halloumi salad for lunch, as did my lunch partner. The salads took approximately an hour to arrive, even though the restaurant did not appear to be very busy.

The delay was problematic because my lunch partner had to reschedule a meeting, but I'm giving an "average" rating because the experience was positive aside from the delay itself. The person who served our table took initiative to note the delay and apologize for it, and offered a beverage on the house. The salads themselves were reasonably tasty, and we received quick service when it came to water and the bill.

“Nice lunch venue”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

We had lunch alfresco on a beautiful summers day which probably added to the appeal. The food and service were very good. Recommended.

“Mediocre”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

Burgers ok but overpriced. Very noisy for a dining experience, World Cup TV, awful music and noisy clientele vying for loudest contribution.
