Ordered a take away via Just Ask due to extreme laziness on Sat 2nd Feb, having never tried this restaurant before. Decided to go for it due to The List magazine rating it as one of the best of its kind in Edinburgh. Ordered some staples - chicken pakora, garlic nan, pilau rice as well as a starter of tandoori chicken and a main of Kathmandu Chicken Tikka Masallam (this wasn't just for me by the way, the other half was also hungry!). Delivery was smooth, within the timescale advised. The food was tasty - chicken pakora was unusual in that it came cooked with gram flour and onion, rather than just spiced and deep fried ... it was quite tasty. The rest of the meal was really very good. First experience of Shapla was very positive, so I will use again.
