We were a party of 6 for dinner on a March Monday evening. We had tried to get a table the previous day but they were fully booked and after tasting the food i can see why. Put simply it was amazing, we had shared nachos, ceviche and quesadilla to start all of which were really good. We then went for a variety of mains ranging from the steak fajitas to dishes we'd never heard of before again all of which were great and so fresh.
I personally opted to try albondigas (meatballs) as this was a new one on me, the waiter explained they were very filling and he wasn’t wrong, I think I only managed 2/3 before I had to surrender! Also felt it my duty to sample their cocktails so had a mojito, again made fresh and was very tasty.
As previous reviewers have said this is a small place and it does feel like you are walking into someone’s front room but that adds to the appeal, the place is decorated with bold bright colours the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is simple, fresh well prepared and reasonably priced.

The restaurant had called us to say that they were running late and asked if we could come abit later for our reservation which was fine, so we turned up when they asked but the table was still not ready. We were left standing in the middle of the tiny restaurant for a good 10 minutes whilst we had to wait for our table to be vacated. We weren't offered a drink or any compensation for our wait.
Having said that, the food was good and tasted authentic although my dish came with a bit much sauce.
Overall a good experience but service should of been better

Fantastic food and service. Dishes are well portioned and completely worth the money. The staff are attentive, and continuously helpful and friendly. Great Mexican food. Will definitely go again.

We visited this restaurant on a Tuesday evening in the middle of February, and people were having to be turned away as it was fully booked. It is a very small, cosy restaurant, around 25 seats, and had a relaxed atmosphere.
The food was fantastic. We shared a 'Camarones, Tocino, Queso, Y Jalapenos starter (King prawns and smokey bacon, grilled with melted cheese, and jalapeno peppers, with salsa, salad and warm tortillas) which was just divine!. For mains I had 'Borrego Con Miel' (7 hour cooked lamb, with Mexican honey and smokey chipotle chillies). It was lush!. Melt in the mouth lamb, with a wee kick about 10 seconds after a mouthful!. My partner had Chicken 'Monterrey' a mild and creamy sauce, made with with smoked bacon, peppers, creme fraiche and cheese which he said was delicious. The portions sizes were large, and even after just sharing a starter we were too full for dessert so we both had Frozen Margaritas instead!. With our meal we enjoyed a couple of Mexican beers and a lovely bottle of Mexican red wine.
The service was good, and the meal was very reasonably priced. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Went here based on the reviess and was not disappointed. Shared a medium nachos with honey roast lamb which was possibly the best nachos I have ever tasted. A huge portion too. Mains were good too as were the margaritas. We wk be back.
