When I’m in an up-market restaurant and pay £23 for a grilled sole (whole fish, without sides) I expect a fish knife. I asked the waiter and was told they did not have fish knives. How can you have a whole fish with bones on your menu and not have fish knives. Sure, I can overlook that in a budget restaurant or a pub but not in a place that wants to be upmarket and certainly is when it comes to pricing. I asked the waiter to suggest to the manager that they get some fish knives. Thanks to them being a chain that’s for the HQ in London to decide. Well, I suggest you get in touch with them.
