Stayed here with a total of six people and it could not of been more comfortable. The location is excellent. It's a scenic 15-20 walk to a lot of the more touristy sites, but far enough that it is very quiet at night.
The parlor room is the best part of the apartment. We stayed in our last night and had dinner and drinks in this rooms. Made for a magical end of our time in Edinburgh.
There is no elevator but the stairs are manageable.
Beds and lines were all comfortable and the place was spotless. Especially appreciated the heating floor in one of the bathrooms.
Had a little issue with on of the showers and sink drains, but all in all very minor.
I would absolutely recommend to any big group staying in Edinburgh.
Also Dayna who greeted us at the apartment with the keys was absolutely lovely.
My husband, Son and I had the pleasure of staying in the apartment for four nights in early October. We found the apartment very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, plates, etc. The location was within about a 10 minute walk of numerous tourist attractions but far enough removed that the neighborhood was pleasantly quiet and had a nice selection of grocery, pharmacy and wine shops. We also found a number of very enjoyable restaurants in the neighborhood serving high quality, reasonably priced food. We would certainly consider staying there again.
